Software Engineer III - GBS IND

Overview

Develop and deliver complex software requirements to meet business goals, with a focus on functional, non-functional and compliance needs, well-designed and maintainable solutions, and built-in testing.

What you'll do

• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement or story per defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Design, develop and modify architecture components, application interfaces and solution enablers while maintaining principal architecture integrity
• Mentor other software engineers and coach the team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating the tool stack
• Execute story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimation of work needed to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
• Perform spikes and proofs of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Automate manual release activities
• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
• May manage associates, including inclusive team leadership, data-driven process improvement, risk identification and escalation, coaching and feedback, talent recruitment and development, and delivery of business outcomes

What you'll need

• Strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry
• Knowledge of design and architectural patterns
