Software Engineer III - RUST

Overview

Software Engineer III (Rust) to design, build, and deliver software features for storage-focused workloads.

What you'll do

• Design and develop new software features and maintain existing ones.
• Analyze bug reports and implement fixes on multiple platforms.
• Collaborate with an Engineering Manager and a distributed team on product requirements.
• Contribute to and validate product documentation.
• Assist with performance tuning for specific environments and use-cases.
• Work on heavy execution with design and delivery.

What you'll need

• Total experience required: 7 to 15 years.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Software development experience in Linux environments with Rust and Bash scripting.
• Willingness to work on Rust if currently working on C/C++/Golang.
• Strong communication skills and ability to self-start.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Linux experience is preferred.
• Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Gerrit, Git, and GitHub preferred.
• Enterprise-class or HPC storage systems and/or distributed systems experience is a bonus.
