Software Engineer (Web Developer)

Overview

Software Engineer (Web Developer) to manage and continuously develop a web infrastructure and version-controlled repositories.

What you'll do

• Administer and update a Jekyll-based website, including content, templates, and configurations.
• Maintain website performance, speed, capacity, and security.
• Monitor website traffic, uptime, and performance metrics and escalate issues.
• Write and test maintainable, well-documented code compatible across browsers, devices, and OS.
• Manage GitHub repositories with version control workflows and documentation.
• Use Claude Code and Cowork to develop, test, deploy, design, build, and host web properties.
• Coordinate integrations with third-party APIs and maintain data connection integrity.

What you'll need

• 3-6 years of web development experience.
• Proficiency with Jekyll or comparable static site generator frameworks.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Markdown, and Liquid templating.
• Proven experience with Git and GitHub, including repository administration and workflows.
• Ability to operate Claude Code and Cowork in a professional development environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
