Software Engineer Intern - Platform Engines

Overview

Software Engineer Intern in the Platform Engines group, working with tenured engineers on foundational features such as the Policy Engine for SailPoint’s Identity Security Cloud SaaS access governance solution.

What you'll do

• Collaborate to develop the Policy Engine for the Identity Security Cloud SaaS access governance solution.
• Implement software and procedures that provide value to the SailPoint team and customers.
• Work with software and quality assurance engineers, technical writers and product managers to help deliver elegant software solutions.
• Learn about Agentic, Agile, Angular, AWS, Docker, Golang, Jenkins, Kafka, Kubernetes, Playwright, REST, Scrum, Snowflake, SQL, Temporal, and others.

What you'll need

• Demonstrable knowledge of a programming language, such as Golang, TypeScript, or equivalent.
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• An interest and aptitude for delivering sophisticated and robust product, tool and test solutions.
• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE/MIS or a related field.
• Undergraduate at least one year into the degree course.

Details

• Internship runs from 28 June 2027 until 3 September 2027.
• Remote in the United Kingdom.
• The first 3 days of the internship will be held in person at the London office.
• A 2-day in-person offsite will take place mid-internship.
• Travel and lodging will be provided.
• Must be authorized to work in the UK without sponsorship; no visa sponsor is available.
