Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Agent) - UK

Overview

Develop and deploy AI agents for practical customer use cases, partnering with customers and software and machine learning engineers. The role combines AI agent development, enterprise integrations, technical guidance, and deployment improvement.

What you'll do

• Develop, configure, deploy, and optimize AI agents.
• Build integrations with APIs, databases, CRMs, and other external systems.
• Optimize agent performance and troubleshoot complex enterprise deployments.
• Gather technical requirements and translate business needs into AI solutions.
• Conduct demos, create proof-of-concepts, and refine solutions using feedback.
• Define milestones, implementation plans, and coordinate delivery with internal teams.
• Advise customers on architecture, security, scalability, and AI agent adoption.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of full-time experience in software development, consulting, AI/ML engineering, system integration, or as an FDE.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and Golang.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and strong understanding of AI agent frameworks, function calling, and RAG.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring.
• Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Hands-on experience building AI agent systems.
