Forward Deployed Engineer

Overview

Forward Deployed Engineer supporting enterprise customer engagements across solution engineering, professional services, and product management. The role builds solutions, leads technical discovery, delivers proof-of-value implementations, and uses AI-assisted engineering workflows.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discovery sessions and product architecture walkthroughs.
• Deliver proof-of-value implementations and technical demonstrations.
• Map customer technical requirements to platform capabilities.
• Serve as technical lead on complex enterprise engagements.
• Contribute reusable agentic technology solutions and implementation artifacts.
• Mentor and onboard newer Forward Deployed Engineers.
• Represent the company at user groups, webinars, or industry conferences.

What you'll need

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in enterprise software, systems integration, or technology consulting.
• 3+ years of software implementation, technical advisory, or pre-sales engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in software development, system configuration, and SaaS architecture.
• Knowledge of web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, LDAP, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages including Java, Python, SQL, PowerShell, JavaScript, TypeScript, or NodeJS.
• Comfort with AI prompting, agentic workflows, and reviewing AI-generated code.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of experience with IGA or IAM solutions.
• Experience with SailPoint or related identity platforms.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, ServiceNow, SAP, or Salesforce.
• Relevant CISSP, cloud, or SailPoint certifications.

• Remote in the United Kingdom.
• Travel up to 15% as needed.
