Software Engineer - Java

Overview

Software Backend Engineer role focused on Java-based development and lifecycle ownership for Celonis on-premise process mining systems and the migration path to the Celonis Platform SaaS.

What you'll do

• Own the full on-premises product lifecycle, including investigating, implementing, building, and delivering to customers.
• Support and maintain project stability and security, including updating dependencies and implementing standards and protocols.
• Continuously improve software reliability.
• Support on-premises customers migrating to the cloud-based Celonis Platform.
• Improve and automate development processes.
• Mentor teammates and help define an inclusive engineering culture.

What you'll need

• 3-6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Exposure to geographically distributed work environments.
• Experience working on microservices-based distributed systems.
• Ability to address enterprise security, compliance, scalability, and data consistency challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
