Software Engineer, .NET

Overview

Join as a Software Engineer at associate level, building and maintaining customer-centric, high-performance, secure and robust software solutions within a feature team.

What you'll do

• Engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure and robust solutions.
• Engineer software, scripts and tools that are often complex, working within a feature team.
• Liaise with other engineers, architects and business analysts across the platform.
• Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality which adds value to the business.
• Work in permanent teams with responsibility for the full life cycle, from initial development through enhancement and maintenance to replacement or decommissioning.
• Collaborate to optimise software engineering capability.
• Design, produce, test and implement working code.
• Work across the life cycle, from requirements analysis and design through coding to testing, deployment and operations.

What you'll need

• A background in software engineering, software design and architecture, with an understanding of how your area of expertise supports customers.
• Four to eight years of total experience.
• At least three years of hands-on experience with .NET technologies such as C#, .NET Core, object-oriented programming (OOP), and design patterns.
• Exposure to service-oriented architecture (SOA) and distributed systems design.
• Working knowledge of public cloud platforms, preferably GCP or Azure.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices.
• Ability to translate business and product requirements into scalable, efficient and maintainable technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Domain experience in FX Trading, Capital Markets, or Financial Markets.
