Overview

Software Engineer for Private Cloud Systems, focused on designing, implementing, and continuously improving private cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Design and develop major infrastructure components with a focus on fault tolerance and performance.
• Own systems end-to-end from design through production.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful integration and operation of infrastructure systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability and usability.
• Enable fact-driven decisions by deferring to the data or code in question.
• Practice distributed leadership by leading, collaborating, and following peers across projects.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience developing and optimizing systems software.
• Deep expertise in virtualization, storage service modeling & REST API/SDK generation, or scientific/high-performance computing kernel development.
• Experience designing, developing, and/or troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Comfort with at least one systems programming language (C/C++, Go) and one scripting language (Python, Bash).
• Comfort with shells on *nix family systems.
• B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
