Software Engineer (Python, React)

Overview

Software Engineer (Python, React) for the Innovation team, building and prototyping full-stack solutions for AI transformation outcomes.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full stack applications with backend and frontend.
• Build and manage data-heavy backend systems spanning data engineering, warehousing, and modeling.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines in Python to ingest and process structured and unstructured data into cloud platforms.
• Create responsive, high-performance React.js user interfaces for data visualizations.
• Build and deploy scalable microservices using cloud platforms and services (e.g., Cloud Run/Functions).
• Implement CI/CD and automated testing with TDD and engineering best practices.
• Experiment with AI/ML and Generative AI to prototype MVPs and accelerators.

What you'll need

• 3–8 years of full stack development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python (backend) and React.js (frontend).
• Hands-on data engineering/warehousing experience and large-scale datasets (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and data architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms for deploying scalable applications (GCP preferred).
• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
