Software Engineer - SDK Developer - C++, Networking - 8 to 13 years

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role on Cisco Silicon One, working on core C++ software technologies across the stack for networking silicon products.

What you'll do

• Develop core software technologies for infrastructure solutions across user-facing APIs to firmware.
• Craft and develop software for complex infrastructure.
• Gain knowledge of silicon and programming models used by the team.
• Work with architecture and design teams to define next-generation ASIC products.
• Drive next-generation network devices within the Cisco Silicon One software/ASIC group.
• Develop a full software stack enabling Silicon One ASICs.

What you'll need

• B.E. or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong background in C++.
• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• 5+ years of experience in C++ or embedded development.
• Familiarity with networking technologies and concepts.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
• Self-motivated with focus on execution.

Nice to have

• Experience in Python.
• Ability to quickly ramp on multiple interdisciplinary domains.
• Love for solving complex problems.
