Job description

Overview

As an Application Developer, design and develop dataflows based on business requirements using Oracle PL/SQL and Snowflake. Work on data warehousing, database performance, and a new platform involving Azure and Snowflake as part of an Agile team.

What you'll do

  • Understand business requirements and design, create, or modify dataflows.
  • Work extensively on Oracle and data warehousing concepts.
  • Work on a new platform involving Microsoft Azure and Snowflake.
  • Tune database objects with performance issues.
  • Take care of production releases once a month.
  • Develop dataflows using Snowflake and Oracle PL/SQL as part of an Agile team.

What you'll need

  • 1-2 years' experience in Data Modelling, Oracle PL/SQL, advanced database techniques, and Snowflake.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle DB, PL/SQL, and Performance Tuning.
  • Proficiency in reading the execution plan, creating proper indexes, and using hints.
  • Well versed with data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge in the financial domain.
  • Basic knowledge of shell scripting and Unix.
  • Good knowledge of tools such as TOAD and SQL Developer.
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in any discipline is a must.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Microsoft Azure is a plus.
  • Certifications on Oracle, Azure, and Snowflake are preferred.
