Software Engineer III - Python with AI/ML

Overview

Build AI/ML data systems and scalable machine learning pipelines for financial data applications. The role covers data ingestion, model development, deployment, monitoring, and visualization using Python and related technologies.

What you'll do

• Ingest, analyze, and automate the acquisition, scoring, and storage of data sources.
• Develop data-mining, concordance, production, and retrieval processes.
• Architect and implement ML pipelines for training, validation, inference, and monitoring.
• Prepare datasets through collection, preprocessing, feature engineering, labeling, and exploratory analysis.
• Develop, test, optimize, deploy, and monitor machine learning models.
• Build dashboards and visualizations for financial experts.
• Write clean, efficient, and documented Python or similar code.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of software development experience focused on large-scale data operations.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Programming skills in Python or similar languages such as R, Java, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, mathematics/statistics, and database systems.
• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, SQL, and data-handling tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy, and AWS APIs.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or other big-data platforms.
• Experience with ArangoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with AWS services including Kinesis, Glue, Redshift, EC2, S3, or EMR.
• Exposure to deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning projects.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, Git, or MLOps concepts.
