Overview
ServiceNow Agentic AI Senior Engineer role focused on designing, building, and optimizing AI-powered agents and intelligent workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
What you'll do
- Design, configure, and customize AI Agents within the ServiceNow platform.
- Build agentic workflows for reasoning, task execution, contextual decision-making, and workflow orchestration.
- Implement and customize Now Assist for ITSM, HRSD, and CSM, plus AI-powered skills/actions and conversational experiences.
- Develop prompt engineering and AI orchestration flows using tools, APIs, workflows, and external systems.
- Create human-in-the-loop experiences with approvals and compliance controls.
- Develop scalable ServiceNow solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Script Includes, Business Rules, and APIs, and integrate with external LLM platforms where required.
- Ensure governance and responsible AI alignment, including auditability, explainability, role-based controls, and human oversight.
What you'll need
- 6+ years of IT experience.
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development.
- 1+ years exposure to AI/GenAI implementations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information technology, or relevant work experience.
- Ability to design and execute test cases using ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework.
- Strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong JavaScript and scripting knowledge.
