Software Engineering Senior Manager

Overview

Lead software engineering teams and managers delivering secure, scalable technology capabilities. Shape technical strategy, manage delivery risks, and partner with product, architecture, and technology stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Manage, coach, and develop experienced engineers and engineering managers.
• Ensure releases meet architecture and non-functional requirements.
• Guide cloud readiness, application modernization, and migration to target architecture.
• Represent the product in cross-team planning and collaboration.
• Remove technology, delivery, build, and deployment impediments.
• Conduct code reviews and guide technical design in the codebase.
• Manage people and financial resources, vendors, hiring, and performance management.

What you'll need

• At least 7 years of software engineering experience or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of management or leadership experience.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, SDLC, SRE, and enterprise software delivery.
• Experience leading engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, or platform delivery teams.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code, including Terraform, Ansible, GitOps, and policy-as-code.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and deliver in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Nice to have

• Cloud certification on Azure, GCP, or equivalent platforms.
• Prior experience in banking or regulated industries.
• Experience delivering in a multicultural, globally distributed organization.
• Hands-on exposure to AI/ML and GenAI-enabled software delivery.
