Software Technical Lead Engineer- SKAS

Overview

Software Technical Lead Engineer role supporting customer-facing software for Lam etch and deposition products, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and install-base health.

What you'll do

• Support and manage customer-facing software activities such as escalation management, upgrades, patch creation and testing, and maintenance.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software and system-level issues using logs and code review as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify root causes and drive issues to closure.
• Support new product and feature introductions by understanding product roadmaps and driving Alpha, Beta, and customer readiness.
• Create customer-facing documentation and notification packages for software fixes, upgrades, and feature introductions.
• Provide hands-on software support and escalation management through customer visits.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, preferably Computer Science, Electronics, or Information Technology.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer architecture and operating systems.
• Prior experience in a customer management role.
