Software Tester

Overview

Software Tester responsible for planning, executing, and documenting manual and automated testing for an integrated mission control software tool.

What you'll do

• Develop test plans, strategies, and cases from requirements and technical specifications.
• Monitor CI/CD pipelines, test results, and system logs.
• Conduct regression testing for new features and bug fixes.
• Execute manual and automated tests and report results.
• Identify, report, and prioritize defects using issue-tracking systems.
• Collaborate with developers to validate defect fixes.
• Document test procedures and share quality-assurance knowledge.

What you'll need

• Up to 2 years of software testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain a Tier 2 Public Trust clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Basic shell scripting knowledge.

Details

• Remote/teleworker position in the United States.
• Pay range: $50,700–$91,650 per year.
