Solution Architect

Overview

Solution Architect providing advanced solution architecture design and engineering review for customer systems, and leading infrastructure architecture across DevOps/IT operations processes.

What you'll do

• Deliver advanced solution architecture design and engineering review for customer system requirements.
• Develop system-level design and integration for computing and data storage/retention and recovery needs.
• Participate in engineering working groups and align technology with corporate technology directions.
• Serve as an infrastructure product SME across the application development life cycle.
• Lead lower-level systems administrators and engineers through planning, implementation, and support.
• Provide infrastructure architecture leadership for crisis, incident, and problem management processes.
• Participate in deployment of new releases across environments with robust back-out plans.

What you'll need

• 5-10 years’ experience in a high-performance datacenter with direct support, systems engineering, design, and architect responsibilities.
• 24x7 operations experience required, with reasonable availability 24/7.
• Strong DevOps skills and hands-on tooling experience.
• Highly developed understanding of virtualization technologies including Windows/Unix/VMWare.
• Advanced knowledge of high-transaction OLTP and batch process databases with performance monitoring and tuning.
• 3+ years’ experience in architecture and design of high performance, highly available solutions.
• Knowledge of Azure networking and services (Load Balancers, Firewalls, Virtual Networks, NSGs, vWAN, ExpressRoute), ARM, and AKS.
