Solution Architect

Overview

Work with businesses and Partners to help them leverage the full potential of the UiPath Automation Platform, designing, developing, testing and building automation solutions as part of UiPath Professional Services and leading a team of automation developers.

What you'll do

• Design, code and test automation workflows using the UiPath Automation Platform.
• Develop stable, reusable and scalable automation solution designs using UiPath.
• Decide on development methodologies and best practices.
• Verify and leverage appropriate components from the UiPath Product Suite.
• Provide solution designs to customers during deal deployment, POCs (Proof of Concept) and project implementation.
• Oversee development of automation projects and components according to solution design and requirements.
• Oversee testing, deployment, hypercare and monitoring stages.
• Review crucial pieces of code and facilitate knowledge transfer in the project team.
• Develop workflows and custom activities using C#/.NET, with Python for custom coded workflows.
• Design and deliver agentic automation solutions using UiPath Agent Builder, Maestro (agentic orchestration) and Autopilot.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Claude Cowork and OpenAI Codex to accelerate solution design, development, code reviews and documentation.
• Be responsible for the overall testing cycles.
• Deliver technical training, demos and blueprints and provide necessary support for new and existing clients.
• Mentor budding developers and architects.

What you'll need

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science/IT or equivalent degree.
• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry with a code development background.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience developing and implementing automation workflows in UiPath.
• Strong technical skills on UiPath and the end-to-end UiPath Product Suite.
• Understanding of workflow-based logic and hands-on experience with RE-framework, Orchestration Framework and DU (Document Understanding) Framework.
• Working knowledge of UiPath IXP / Document Understanding, Computer Vision and Action Center.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.
• Strong programming/scripting knowledge in C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript is a must.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a team.
• Experience working with Mainframe Automation, SAP Automation or Citrix Automation.
• Experience working with other RPA tools.
• UiPath Automation Solution Architect Professional certification (preferred).
• Knowledge in cognitive automation with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) tools, AI/ML skills.
• Understanding of UiPath infrastructure requirements.
• Experience working with Test Suite, Apps, Insights.
• Hands-on understanding of Generative AI and UiPath agentic automation: Agent Builder, Maestro (agentic orchestration), Autopilot, AI Trust Layer and Context Grounding.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Claude Cowork, OpenAI Codex or GitHub Copilot.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), prompt engineering and agent frameworks / Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Understanding of cloud services such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
