Overview
The Vault Solutions Engineer partners with Veeam field sellers to evangelize Veeam Vault and provide technical expertise during customer engagements.
What you'll do
- Present Veeam Vault technology and demonstrate product capabilities to decision-makers.
- Develop Veeam Vault opportunities with the core sales department for technical win.
- Translate business objectives into technical requirements with customers or partners.
- Consult independently on Vault solutions and provide specialized technical expertise.
- Perform pre-sales support, including live and virtual customer meetings and demos.
- Conduct architecture reviews, resilience assessments, operational readiness reviews, and solution validation to improve resilience and recoverability.
- Deliver technical workshops, executive briefings, and strategic advisory sessions to drive adoption.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, cloud engineering, customer success, infrastructure engineering, or related disciplines.
- Strong expertise in public cloud platforms, cyber resilience, Vault, data protection technologies, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience designing, deploying, supporting, or advising on public cloud environments including AWS, Azure, and hybrid architectures.
- Understanding of cloud architecture, identity and access considerations, security best practices, and modern infrastructure design principles.
- Experience with backup, recovery, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, secure recovery, or cyber vaulting strategies across public cloud and enterprise environments.
- Ability to engage technical and executive stakeholders and translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
