Solutions Engineering Manager, APAC

Overview

Solutions Engineering Manager for Glean’s APAC team, leading solutions engineers to deliver technical guidance and value to prospects and customers across the sales cycle and post-sales adoption.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers with ongoing coaching and support.
• Act as the primary technical advisor for a territory/segment, guiding customer relationships.
• Drive pre-sales technical discovery, product demonstrations, use case workshops, and pilots.
• Connect with prospects/customers to integrate new data sources and custom integrations.
• Use sales methodologies such as Command of the Message and MEDDPICC for discovery and deal scoping.
• Troubleshoot, prioritize, and escalate issues to support customer satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities and drive product enhancements from field feedback.

What you'll need

• Pre or post-sales solution consultant experience in a rapidly growing software company.
• Proven people leadership experience in talent development and performance management.
• 7–10+ years of SE experience, including success in sales engineering and complex deals.
• API and integration experience in a hybrid or SaaS environment.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, security, and networking for cloud and on-premise.
• Hands-on cloud experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
• Presentation and communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
