Overview

Hands-on Test Specialist (individual contributor) owning end-to-end testing for assigned product areas and bringing an AI-first approach across the QA lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end sprint testing for assigned product areas from grooming through sign-off.
• Design and execute test cases (with AI assistance), maintain them in QMetry, and drive defects to closure in Jira.
• Ensure functional, integration, and regression coverage within sprint timelines.
• Partner with Product Management (PMG) on requirements, scope, edge cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Define automation scope with the automation team for significant sprint changes and provide expected scenarios for reliable tests.
• Apply AI-first practices to requirement analysis, test case generation, test data creation, defect triage, and reporting.

What you'll need

• Strong experience in functional and system testing across web-based products.
• Hands-on experience with QMetry (preferred) and Jira.
• Working knowledge of SQL for backend validation and data reconciliation testing.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.
• Comfort using AI-assisted testing tools like Claude or ChatGPT.
• Solid understanding of the capital markets domain (trade/order management/commissions and/or post-trade workflows).
