Specialist, Market Operations

Overview

Provide frontline operational support for Coinbase Derivatives Exchange and Deribit across trading, clearing, connectivity, and exchange applications in a 24/7 team.

What you'll do

• Support electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications in real time.
• Investigate and resolve inquiries about exchange functionality, market events, connectivity, and product schedules.
• Analyze and resolve error trades and exchange-operations investigations.
• Coordinate product launches, platform updates, and pre-production deployment testing.
• Support client and vendor onboarding and operational enablement.
• Identify and recommend operational process improvements.

What you'll need

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field.
• At least 1 year of financial markets operations or technical operations experience.
• Product and operational knowledge of listed futures or options.
• Hands-on experience with error trade analysis and resolution.
• Ability to explain complex technical problems to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience providing voice, email, and chat support in high-volume, time-sensitive conditions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with prediction markets or event contracts.
• Familiarity with FIX or network protocols.
• Familiarity with SQL, Salesforce, or JIRA.

Details

• Remote role in the UK.
• Annual base salary: £81,630–£90,700 GBP.
• Quarterly in-person working sessions may be required.
