Specialist - Quality Engineering

Overview

Specialist - Quality Engineering responsible for validating complex trading applications and services through system, integration, API, end-to-end, and automated testing.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain integration and system-level test cases for end-to-end trading workflows.
• Perform API and integration testing across critical business flows.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Java, Python, Shell, or similar languages.
• Analyze quality metrics, test results, defect trends, and failure data.
• Maintain test cases, test data, execution reports, defect reports, and release sign-off inputs.
• Log, track, and support resolution of defects throughout their lifecycle.
• Improve test approaches, automation coverage, environments, and test data strategies.

What you'll need

• 6–8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with system, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience with Linux/Unix command-line operations, log analysis, process monitoring, and shell scripting.
• Experience testing cloud-native applications using AWS and Kubernetes-based platforms such as Amazon EKS.
• Experience with test automation using Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with financial systems such as trading, clearing, settlement, or capital markets.
• Knowledge of test automation framework design and implementation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
