What you'll do

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors through research, networking, and market intelligence to meet procurement requirements.
• Assess supplier capabilities, quality standards, reliability, and pricing models to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable agreements and cost efficiencies.
• Monitor supplier performance, proactively addressing discrepancies, risks, or service issues to maintain consistent delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs, requirements, and timelines for effective procurement planning.
• Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and best practices to inform sourcing strategies and decisions.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting on supplier evaluations, contracts, and procurement activities to support decision-making and compliance.

What you'll need

• Bachelors - Commerce, Bachelors - Economics, Bachelors - Finance, Masters - Business Administration, or Masters - Business Analytics.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - Institute for Supply Management (ISM), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - Indian Institute of Management, Trichy.
• Required skills: Contract Management, Data Literacy, Generative AI, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SAP Overview, Sourcing and Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• English language proficiency: Upper Intermediate - B2 (Required).
