Specialist, Technical Support Analyst(engineering)

Overview

Provide day-to-day technical support and lifecycle delivery assistance for engineering, maintenance, asset reliability, manufacturing operations, and EHS applications. The role covers troubleshooting, administration, integrations, upgrades, testing, compliance documentation, monitoring, and vendor coordination.

What you'll do

• Resolve application incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Support integrations, data exchanges, interface testing, and connectivity validation.
• Execute approved upgrades, patches, deployments, smoke tests, and rollback activities.
• Perform application administration, configuration updates, access management, and job monitoring.
• Prepare and execute functional, regression, and validation testing.
• Maintain SDLC, GMP/GxP, change-control, testing, and audit-ready documentation.
• Monitor service health and coordinate escalations with vendors and senior specialists.

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of experience in application support, technical analysis, software implementation, IT operations, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a stated technology, data, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience troubleshooting enterprise applications and handling incidents, defects, changes, releases, or upgrades.
• Knowledge of COTS, SaaS, cloud-hosted, vendor-managed, Windows, or web-based applications.
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM, REST/JSON, SaaS/Azure, Power BI, PowerShell/Python, GMP, or CMMS/system condition monitoring.
• Understanding of SDLC, testing, change control, release management, documentation, and service management.

Nice to have

• Experience in pharmaceutical, life-sciences, regulated manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, asset reliability, construction, or EHS environments.
• ITIL, Azure, Microsoft security, Power Platform, or Power BI certification.
