Overview

Senior AI Engineer in Micron’s Artificial Intelligence Engineering (AIE) organization, designing and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Factory Automation solutions for Assembly & Test manufacturing operations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support MES solutions for Assembly & Test operations.
• Translate manufacturing business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Apply knowledge of MES, factory automation, workflows, and equipment integration to solve manufacturing challenges.
• Build integrations between manufacturing and enterprise systems using APIs, microservices, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, testing, deployment planning, and implementation.
• Execute SIT/UAT/E2E testing, validate deployments, support factory go-lives, and perform Hypercare.
• Troubleshoot production issues with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Hands-on experience supporting Assembly & Test manufacturing operations.
• Ability to independently deliver manufacturing solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience working directly with manufacturing stakeholders and business users.
• Required bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT, AI).
• Technical skills with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API.
