Sr Analyst II Data Engineering

What you'll do

• Design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications following established architecture standards and software development and project management practices.
• Handle .NET development and deployments, with Windows as the primary platform.
• Test web applications using software tools, fix bugs, and generate SAST and DAST reports.
• Carry out VAPT and security work.
• Install SSL certificates on web applications.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 4+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role.
• Proven experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C#, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)).
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
• Knowledge of databases such as Oracle database.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent critical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• A continuous learner who stays abreast of industry knowledge and technology.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in programming preferred.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Analyst or SAS Certified Big Data Professional.
