Sr. Analyst - Software Engineering

Overview

Design, develop, modify, adapt, implement and maintain software solutions, applications, systems architecture and application infrastructure. Provide application software development services or technical support in defined projects, learning from more experienced peers as assignment complexity increases.

What you'll do

• Review system requirements and business processes.
• Code, test, debug and implement software solutions.
• Maintain software solutions with some assistance on complex development tasks.
• Develop, test, debug and implement operating system components, software tools and utilities with limited supervision.
• Develop security solutions for routine assignments progressing to assignments with increasing complexity.
• Develop program logic for new applications and analyse and modify logic in existing applications.
• Modify existing internal software products to add new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability under limited supervision.
• Implement and monitor routine system improvements to ensure successful installation and increased efficiency.
• Ensure that applications are compatible across multiple computing platforms and browsers.

What you'll need

• A degree in a discipline related to Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of one or more programming or scripting languages, such as C#, .net, Java, Perl, etc.
• Knowledge of one or more operating systems, such as Windows, Linux/Unix, etc.
• AWS experience.
• UI experience with Angular, React or Vue.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Dynamics.
