Fluent Commerce Developer

Overview

Build and extend Fluent Commerce order orchestration solutions, integrations, and user interfaces for enterprise commerce environments.

What you'll do

• Design order orchestration workflows on the Fluent Commerce platform.
• Develop Java business rules using the Fluent SDK.
• Build GraphQL queries and mutations for Fluent data entities.
• Extend user interfaces with the OMX UX Framework.
• Integrate commerce, ERP, WMS, POS, payment, and carrier systems.
• Configure inventory, ATP, fulfilment networks, and sourcing strategies.
• Test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and document solutions.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong core Java skills.
• Hands-on Fluent Commerce or Fluent Order Management experience.
• Experience with GraphQL, REST, JSON, and API design.
• Understanding of event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems through APIs and middleware.
• Familiarity with cloud, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to have

• Fluent Commerce certification or a plan to obtain it.
• JavaScript, TypeScript, or React skills.
• Composable or MACH commerce experience.
• Retail order management and omnichannel fulfilment knowledge.
• Experience with OMS migrations or integrations.
• Exposure to AWS Lambda, containers, or infrastructure-as-code.
