Sr Analytics Engineer

Overview

Sr Analytics Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and reporting solutions on the Steam Data Lake platform.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain database architectures, schemas, and data models for Steam Datalake.
• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and feature extraction.
• Integrate internal/external data sources and APIs.
• Set up data quality checks and follow data governance policies.
• Create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
• Lead workstreams as an individual contributor and guide junior team members.
• Develop GenAI use cases and run/participate in POCs, Kaizens, and Hackathons for business problems.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent with hands-on data engineering experience.
• Significant experience in data and analytics for both structured and unstructured data.
• Database management experience with PostgreSQL and warehousing technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with ETL tools including Talend and/or Informatica and automating data pipeline workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI for reports and dashboards.
• Ability to use data programming tools/languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or SQL.
