Overview
Data Engineer, Specialist designs, develops, and maintains scalable data solutions for analytics and business intelligence.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain scalable ETL processes using Python and SQL.
- Design data models, database structures, and data pipelines to ensure performance, scalability, and data quality.
- Integrate data from APIs, third-party services, and on-premises/cloud databases to produce reliable datasets.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Build automated Python/SQL workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
- Validate, monitor, and apply data governance practices to maintain data quality.
- Test code to ensure accuracy, reliability, and alignment with business requirements.
What you'll need
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 1 year designing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and database architectures.
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or IT, or a Diploma in Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Python programming experience (strong background preferred).
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
- Good understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
