Sr. Associate, Data Analysis & Visualization (Data Analyst)

Overview

Sr. Associate in Alcon's Analytics & Intelligence function, primarily responsible for using data science techniques to analyze data, create visualizations, and support data-driven solutions, working closely with senior team members to ensure insights are accurate and relevant.

What you'll do

• Perform specialized data analysis and visualization tasks.
• Conduct independent research to optimize outcomes.
• Utilize data science techniques such as statistical analysis and data mining to extract insights and create meaningful visualizations to communicate findings.
• Achieve goals through mainly self-directed work with potential oversight from management.
• Make decisions within the scope of assigned tasks.
• Apply advanced technical knowledge and analytical skills.
• Communicate effectively and work independently.
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 4-7 years of total experience.
• Hands on experience of Advanced SQL.
• Good understanding of ETL and Data Flows.
• Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concept knowledge.
• Hands on experience in Query Performance Optimization.
• Requirements Gathering and Functional Specifications.

Nice to have

• Hands on experience of visualization tool - Tableau.
• Experience working with Finance data sets.
• Exposure to healthcare and manufacturing industry.
