Sr Benefits Client Specialist

Overview

The Sr Benefits Client Specialist supports day-to-day benefits administration for UKG Managed Services customers, serving as a key contact and coordinating execution of benefits-related tasks.

What you'll do

• Act as a consistent point of contact for a defined customer portfolio and coordinate routine tasks and timelines.
• Manage administrative activities across medical, dental, vision, and related benefits plans per established procedures.
• Execute benefits administration activities, triage issues, and escalate complex items for guidance.
• Reference plan documents/SOPs to answer questions and elevate ambiguous interpretations for review.
• Project-manage annual benefits enrollment tasks, including configuration, testing, communications, and acceptance.
• Prepare meeting notes, status updates, and ticket documentation, partnering with brokers/vendors as requested.
• Attend and/or lead recurring service calls and Monthly/Quarterly business reviews (MBR/QBR) for assigned customers.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of relevant experience in U.S. Benefits teams in customer-facing environments.
• Working knowledge of employee lifecycle U.S. Benefits Administration and compliance topics including ACA, ERISA, and HIPAA.
• 3+ years of Customer Success/Customer Relationship Management experience.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work in US shifts.
• Ability to provide consulting services with customers to ensure appropriate outcomes are achieved.

Nice to have

• Experience with PlanSource and/or UKG Pro or other HCM benefits administration solutions.
• Working knowledge of EDI configurations.
• Experience with UKG Pro Benefits Administration systems.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
