Sr Data Analyst (ML/Adv. Analytics/Data Science, Python, Databricks, Adv. Excel, Quant & Qual Analytics)

Overview

Sr. Data Analyst on Gartner's Insights and Product Analytics team, solving analytics problems related to content, client interactions and events, staffing, cost reporting, and client retention.

What you'll do

• Own problem structuring, analysis and implementation of strategic initiatives and key, cross-organizational deliverables.
• Partner with data scientist and data engineering teams to develop scalable, advanced analytics-based solutions that help improve client retention.
• Analyze large amounts of data to derive business insights.
• Play a key role in projects measuring the retention impact of Gartner assets, including content, interactions and other client offerings.
• Interact with business leaders to understand their pain areas and build solutions to meet their needs.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience analyzing large volumes of data with strong hands-on experience with analytical tools.
• Ability to gather, analyze, restructure, identify and articulate insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a quantitative concentration (e.g., statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, operational research, computer science, or economics).
• Proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story.
• Shown ability to engage teams and key stakeholders.
• Technical competency in Statistics, Python, Data Science, Databricks, SQL, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong collaboration and influencing skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to work independently.
