Sr. Data Engineer - Data Engineering 4B

Overview

Sr. Data Engineer responsible for end-to-end SQL solutions, including database management, SQL development, performance optimization, and analytical reporting supported by advanced Excel.

What you'll do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Apply T-SQL expertise for query optimization, indexing, and execution plan improvements.
• Convert manual or Excel-based workflows into SQL-driven processes.
• Design scalable schemas and automate recurring database tasks.
• Test and troubleshoot database issues and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Document database architecture, design decisions, and procedures for knowledge sharing.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 4–7 years of experience with SQL Server and strong T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with normalization, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience converting business processes from Excel/legacy scripts into SQL-driven pipelines.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, pivots, formulas, and data connections to SQL.
• Practical knowledge of ETL tools.
• Knowledge of designing data models (Star / Snowflake schema).
• English language proficiency marked as Proficient (C2).
