Overview

Sr. Data Engineer responsible for designing and building scalable data processing systems and pipelines. The role includes optimizing data infrastructure, troubleshooting data issues, and mentoring junior engineers.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable data processing systems.
• Implement and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data.
• Optimize data infrastructure for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to implement solutions for data requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in big data engineering.
• Mentor junior data engineers on best practices and technical skills.

What you'll need

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
• Have a Master’s degree in Data Science.
• Hold relevant certifications including Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Hold relevant certifications including Cloudera Certified Professional (CCP).
• Hold relevant certifications including Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0.
• Hold relevant certifications including Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional.
• Be certified as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
