Sr. Design Engineer- Security Systems

Overview

Support pre-sales engineering for global security system projects, including estimating, system design, technical documentation, and project coordination.

What you'll do

• Review project inputs, specifications, MEP drawings, SOPs, and security system requirements.
• Identify security equipment for access, video, intrusion, and ELV systems.
• Prepare bills of material, hardware and software selections, network connections, and cable calculations.
• Develop cost sheets, comparison charts, checklists, technical write-ups, block diagrams, and deviation charts.
• Participate in project kick-off and review meetings and maintain technical, compliance, risk, and meeting records.
• Deliver quality outputs on time and escalate scope or delivery risks with supporting evidence.
• Prepare weekly or monthly customer project-progress reports.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of relevant security systems experience.
• BE in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics and Communication.
• Strong knowledge of access, video, intrusion, and complete ELV security systems.
• Expertise in security guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office tools, and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, OPC, and other network protocols.
• Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.
