Overview

Build and maintain trading and financial market applications for Genpact's Global Markets Technology team, working with global teams on Java-based systems.

What you'll do

• Develop, test, and implement Java-based software applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing Java systems
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to deliver solutions
• Enhance application performance and optimize code for scalability
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of experience in enterprise Java development
• Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, SQL, microservices, and software architecture
• Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or Master's in Software Engineering
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) - CNCF
• Required skills: Agile Methodology, Client Relations, Collaboration Tools, Design Thinking, Executive Presence, Inclusion, Java Full Stack Development, Microservices Architecture, Personal Effectiveness, Storytelling, Web Services
• English language proficiency, C2 level

Nice to have

• Experience in capital markets or prime brokerage
