Sr. Engineer-PSMM

Overview

Senior Engineer in Powertrain parts validation, responsible for defining and running the test program for parts validation and giving the final reliability opinion on each part.

What you'll do

• Define the test program based on the parts validation test plan.
• Be responsible for all test entities (engine endurance, metrology, instrumentation, characterization).
• Pilot the implementation of the necessary tests as per the validation plan and attend validation project meetings as per schedule.
• Follow up tests and, in case of failure, analyse the root cause during validation and inform the part designer and application engineer.
• Release the final reliability opinion part-wise based on test results and expert feedback before SOP, as per project milestones.

What you'll need

• 4-5 years of experience in powertrain parts and assembly.
• Good knowledge of managing reliability and testing.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to work to deadlines and without supervision.
• Logical thinking and analytical skills.
• Communication skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Adaptability and learning skills.
