Sr. Engineering Manager I

Overview

Lead Building Automation System (BAS) engineering delivery across global projects, overseeing hardware, software, and graphics engineering streams and managing a team of 30–50 engineers.

What you'll do

• Own regional KPIs and business targets with delivery managers.
• Allocate engineering capacity across delivery teams and project priorities.
• Lead operational reviews, governance, quality checks, and delivery compliance.
• Drive project reviews for defect-free, on-time engineering output.
• Implement LEAN improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, learning, and mentoring.
• Drive innovation, automation, and best-practice adoption across workflows.

What you'll need

• BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or E&C.
• Strong fundamentals in controls engineering.
• Understanding of BAS/BMS architecture and system integration.
• Strong HVAC knowledge across plants, towers, pumping systems, and air-handling equipment.
• Experience delivering HVAC, BMS, or industrial automation projects.
• Experience in quality governance, project reviews, and on-time delivery.
• Strong people leadership, communication, and performance-management skills.

Nice to have

• 12–18 years of experience in Building Automation Systems or BMS Design Engineering.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
