Overview
Sr Engineering Program Manager I responsible for end-to-end program execution for next-generation counter-UAS (cUAS) hardware, from concept through mass production.
What you'll do
- Drive hardware programs from concept through mass production and ensure EVT, DVT, and PVT milestones are met.
- Own the master schedule for all program phases.
- Lead cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and supply chain.
- Identify, track, and mitigate program risks impacting schedule or cost.
- Manage the program budget including NRE, tooling, and build costs.
- Coordinate manufacturing readiness with domestic and international stakeholders, including ODM/CM partners.
- Communicate technical status and tradeoffs clearly to executive and cross-functional audiences.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience managing hardware product development programs through the full product lifecycle.
- Technical fluency across mechanical, electrical, and firmware disciplines.
- Experience managing ODM/CM relationships and coordinating manufacturing readiness activities (yield, regulatory certification, factory acceptance).
- Proficiency with program management tools for scheduling, risk tracking, and cross-functional coordination.
- Knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements and experience driving products through certification processes.
Details
- Location: based out of the Kassel office (Kassel, Hesse, Germany).
- Work mode: hybrid schedule with onsite Tuesdays through Fridays and remote on Mondays (unless an approved workplace accommodation).
