Sr. Escalation Engineer

Overview

Sr. Escalation Engineer for the FlashBlade team, serving as a technical authority to drive customer trust and operational stability in complex enterprise storage environments.

What you'll do

• Take end-to-end ownership of critical multi-platform issues to rapidly restore service.
• Perform root-cause analysis across hardware, software, networking, and environmental factors.
• Mentor and coach support team members through joint triage, trainings, and documentation.
• Partner with Product Engineering to relay real-world system behavior and feedback.
• Lead high-visibility customer communications during hot escalations and author technical KB articles.

What you'll need

• End-to-end technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across multi-vendor environments.
• Experience with Linux/Windows administration.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud architectures.
• Experience with REST API services.
• Hands-on experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Understanding of enterprise storage protocols including NFS, S3, and SMB.

• Work from the Bangalore office (in-office environment) unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
