Shift Engineer

Overview

Shift Engineer for a Bangalore site, responsible for maintaining technical services during shift duty, overseeing engineering/maintenance activities, and supporting the Property Manager/Technical Manager.

What you'll do

• Ensure technical services and utilities/electromechanical assets are operational during your shift.
• Manage planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and conduct regular site inspections for risks/defects.
• Review subordinate staff work and provide guidance; oversee vendor quotations, invoices, and signoffs.
• Maintain documentation for assets under defect liability and AMC/CAMC using a tracker.
• Plan and implement energy conservation activities and prepare monthly readings with occupants.
• Handle major complaints, escalate when needed, and participate in evacuation drills and ERT/QRT.
• Assist with risk assessment, mitigation, and root cause analysis for system failures/breakdowns.

What you'll need

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Real Estate/Hotel or Construction industry.
• Analytical and meticulous approach with coordination across various teams.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and assign/monitor maintenance projects.
• Good knowledge of working procedures.
• Residential site experience is preferred for residential sites.
