Sr Manager, Information Architecture, Plan & Source

Overview

Sr Manager for IMSC Information Architecture Plan & Source, creating an Information Architecture pillar to enable AI-ready, trusted, reusable, context-rich information across IMSC domains.

What you'll do

• Design and implement end-to-end FAIR and AI-ready data assets for Make/Quality functional domains.
• Lead conceptual and logical information modelling to ensure consistent business meaning and reusable structures.
• Define and apply information architecture principles, standards, and patterns across metadata, taxonomy, semantics, and ontology.
• Build a business context layer connecting metadata, knowledge, relations, and rules for trusted AI and analytics/automation use.
• Partner with Data Owners and Data Governance to govern semantics and embed standards into the data asset lifecycle.
• Provide oversight for architecture reviews and ensure alignment to meaning, ownership, governance, discoverability, and AI readiness.
• Drive adoption through guidance, playbooks, templates, and education for business and technology stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, or regulated data environments.
• Knowledge of data management and information architecture standards and practices including FAIR and IDMP and ISO standards.
• In-depth experience in information architecture/data architecture/data modelling/data management with conceptual and logical modelling skills.
• Strong understanding of FAIR data, data product design, metadata management, business glossary, taxonomy, semantic modelling, and knowledge graph patterns.
• Experience designing end-to-end data products across master, transactional, operational, and analytics consumption layers.
• Familiarity with data catalogues/metadata repositories/business glossaries/ontology tools, semantic layers, and knowledge graph technologies.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Alation, Databricks, Neo4j, TopBraid, and SAP S/4HANA (and related comparable tech).
