Sr Principal Mechanical Integration Engineer – DCI Liquid Cooling

Overview

Lead mechanical and thermal integration for scalable factory and liquid-cooling infrastructure supporting Jabil manufacturing facilities and data-center cooling systems.

What you'll do

• Lead mechanical and cooling architecture for manufacturing facilities.
• Design chilled-water, heat-rejection, and hydronic distribution systems.
• Architect rack-, row-, and facility-level liquid-cooling systems.
• Review mechanical designs, CAD models, and technical data packages.
• Select piping, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, and cooling equipment.
• Develop BOMs and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead testing, validation, commissioning, and early-life issue resolution.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of mechanical system integration experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and integration strategy.
• Experience with thermal, hydraulic, and mechanical analysis.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to mentor less experienced engineers.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering or higher.
• Active Professional Engineer license.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure standards and regulations.
