Overview
Sr QA Test Analyst role focused on feature-centric testing, automation, and API/UI quality for SaaS products.
What you'll do
- Design test plans and strategies using feature-centric test design techniques.
- Apply technical understanding of integrated systems to identify and channelize issues for the AUT.
- Use BDD concepts to derive features and scenarios from PRDs, epics, and user stories.
- Write optimized, industry-standard UI/API automation code in TypeScript following best practices.
- Work with test frameworks and separation of concerns concepts.
- Perform REST API testing using a standard library.
- Mentor junior team members and support collaboration in a global team.
What you'll need
- 3-5 years of software testing experience for SaaS products.
- 4-6 years of test automation experience for UI and API using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- BDD knowledge and exposure to Node JS.
- Test framework exposure to one of: jest, mocha, protractor, jasmine, or cucumber.
- Knowledge of at least one automation framework: playwright or puppeteer.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field.
