Sr Salesforce Developer, Business Systems & Integrations

Overview

Senior Salesforce developer in Veradigm's Business Systems team, building and fixing Salesforce and the business applications connected to it, including billing, contracts, sales and customer success.

What you'll do

• Build and enhance Salesforce with Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flow.
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and connected systems, such as Zuora, Kantata and LEAH, using Boomi and APIs.
• Configure and support the applications that connect to Salesforce, and learn new ones as the work requires.
• Take designs from requirements to production and document the tradeoffs for architecture review.
• Troubleshoot production issues across connected systems.
• Plan releases and follow change management and audit requirements.
• Review code and mentor other developers.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flow in production.
• 2 or more years building and supporting integrations between Salesforce and other systems, using APIs or middleware such as Boomi or MuleSoft.
• Experience working on an internal business systems or IT team that supports Salesforce and the applications connected to it.
• Experience deploying Salesforce changes through source control, such as Git, and a deployment tool, such as Gearset, Copado or Salesforce DX.
• Experience supporting Salesforce in production, including troubleshooting, release planning and change management.
• Willingness to learn new applications where the team needs you.
• Ability to explain a design and its tradeoffs to business leaders and developers.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with applications that connect to Salesforce, such as Zuora, Kantata SX, LEAH (ContractPodAI), Gainsight, Outreach, Gong, Marketing Cloud or Calendly.
• Platform Developer I or II certification.
• Healthcare or another regulated industry.
• Use of AI tools in development work.

• Remote, based in the United States.
• Compensation range: $102,269-$142,155.
• Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
