Sr. Software Engineer I - API

Overview

Senior Software Engineer I and Technical Lead responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting software platforms and APIs.

What you'll do

• Develop customized, testable, and efficient code for software platforms.
• Architect, design, develop, and validate platform requirements.
• Support, troubleshoot, improve, and enhance existing platforms.
• Collaborate with global teams, stakeholders, and customers.
• Mentor team members and conduct technical reviews.
• Prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs.

What you'll need

• 7–11 years of experience with JavaScript, Go, Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience writing REST APIs and documenting them with OpenAPI specifications.
• Working knowledge of API gateways, preferably Kong.
• Working knowledge of OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
