Overview

Sr Software Engineer role focused on designing and developing an active-active microservice framework that dynamically routes and balances traffic across multi-site deployments.

What you'll do

• Develop the load distribution engine using Finite State Machines (FSM) for dynamic homing.
• Execute Weighted Average Score (WAS) algorithms and implement hysteresis.
• Architect high-throughput API and messaging layers using gRPC and RabbitMQ (RMQ).
• Implement distributed leader election and consensus using Consul Raft and LockAuthority.
• Ensure scalability for 3,000+ assignments per second integrating Apache Ignite/GridGain for caching and recovery.

What you'll need

• 1 to 10 years of industry experience.
• Deep hands-on experience in Golang (preferred) and proficiency in C, C++, or Java.
• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, multi-threading, concurrency control, and FSM.
• Hands-on expertise with gRPC/Protobuf v3 and RabbitMQ.
• Background in consensus tools like Consul Raft and LockAuthority and distributed databases like Apache Ignite and GridGain.
• Practical knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
